Hugel Gentil 2008


This was really good for the price. A blend of varietals from Alsace. This had lemon curd and a zingy acidity on the palate. Even still, I enjoyed how it was fleshier than say, a Sav Blanc. Went well with a richer vegetables, like artichokes. Alsatian wines are new to me and I will seek them out.
